Pamela Schuller

Pamela has been involved with the arts for 35 years through dance, theatre, puppetry and mask making. She discovered the transformative power of mask work for herself through theater. That process of self-discovery has yielded a variety of mask styles and face sculptures that Pamela has created for theater and for sale.
Since 1997, she has developed arts engagement projects using mask making, 3D mural installations and multimedia sculpture for community development, arts education and self-development.

She offers art-making projects and workshops that are ideal for collaborating and engaging with the diverse needs of communities, and inclusive of a range of ages and abilities.
Through the use of various forms of creative expression, participants develop rich interpretations of their own personal, cultural, and shared stories. In these workshops, goals are developed and realized jointly through group collaboration, drawing on the experiences and knowledge of participants, community leaders, and teachers.

  • Énoncé de mission:
"To provide opportunities for people to engage with creating art for personal and social change"

Through school and community projects, I integrate the arts with self and community development, using principles of education, culture, and spirituality, with the intention of helping to shape a community that shapes itself.
This work makes space for new possibilities and approaches to life, as well as social justice, peace, and personal joy. It can create an opening, a sense of being seen and heard, of relief.
The process of learning and celebrating creativity opens our minds, changing our perceptions, and expanding our vision, allowing people to be transformed and gain more self-awareness.
