    The Possibility Fund

    Established in 2005 in response to a lack of arts programming available for young people in communities across Ontario, the Possibility Fund subsidizes performances and workshops in schools that are identified as under-served by district school boards.

    The Possibility Fund addresses issues of equity caused by limited school arts budgets, inadequate fundraising capacity at schools in under-served communities and marginalization of young people due to their socio-economic status, cultural background or other factors.

    Currently involving a partnership with the Toronto District School Board and also reaching some schools outside of the GTA, Prologue is seeking to expand this initiative to engage young people in under-served, Northern and rural communities across Ontario.
  • Énoncé de mission:

    To enrich the lives of every young person through diverse and impactful performing arts experiences

    To increase access to live performing arts experiences for young people

    We achieve this through:

    Connecting young people and educators to the work of artists in schools and public/community venues;

    Advocating for equal access to the arts for all young people as a fundamental part of their education; and

    Collaborating with artists to present a wide range of engaging and accessible programming.
  • ArtBridging:
    Artist Mentorship Opportunities - engage emerging art educators (performing arts)

    Rural and Northern Art Initiatives - engage with rural and Northern performing artists, create meaningful partnership with community members and learn about the ongoing trends and challenges of rural and Northern engaged community arts (mainly performing arts and arts education).
