Southampton Arts Centre

Southampton Arts is a gem in the Saugeen Shores community and has been since 1957. The Centre is home to a renowned Art School that provides superior and inclusive art instruction. Annually, we provided classes for 800-1000 children and adults.

Southampton Arts also manages an acclaimed Gallery, exhibiting the work of as many as 50 local artists. As well, we champion emerging artists, offering these rising stars a place to establish themselves, displaying their work, often for the first time, in public.

The impact of Southampton Arts is felt throughout the Saugeen Shores community. We are a key tourism motivator. We also partner with many local service organizations.

  • Mandate/Mission:
Southampton Arts supports and encourages cultural expression, education in the arts and an appreciation of the arts.
  • ArtBridging Section:
Southampton Arts has struggled with setting up our technical operating systems for this type of non profit organization.
We would love some assistance on which platforms are the best for our Gallery and Art School. Such as POS System for the Gallery and our Website to house our Art School Classes. We have struggled with this side of operations and staff burn out.
