According to independent research conducted nationally following the milestone 5th Anniversary edition on September 26, 27 & 28, 2014, Culture Days is beginning to have measurable impact in encouraging the year-round participation and engagement of Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities. During the 2014 Culture Days weekend, 2 million Canadians participated in 7,643 free activities hosted in 891 cities and towns across Canada.
