Health Research Fellowship Call for Applications

The Michaëlle Jean Foundation and the Research and Education Foundation (REF) of the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) have launched the call for applications for the new Power of the Arts Family Medicine Fellowship. Offering approximately $60,000 over a three-year period, the Fellowship will enable family medicine researchers to study how the arts may be used in primary care to promote health and wellbeing in communities across Canada, and particularly among marginalized populations. A requirement would be that at least one CFPC family physician member be part of the team. The results of the research will benefit Canadian communities by improving the quality of life through the arts and the discipline of family medicine by evidence-based support of using art as a health and wellness initiative. For more information.
