“Attention experienced or budding artists: We are looking for a new logo!
Who We Are Indigenous Physicians Association of Canada (IPAC)
We are a national collective of Indigenous physicians, medical students and residents, with associate members, all who strive through clinical expertise, learning, teaching, support and advocacy to improve Indigenous health and social issues.
What We Do
It is our responsibility and mandate to come together to collectively improve Indigenous physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health and to advance the health of Indigenous peoples and communities. We educate others on Indigenous health and social issues, exchange knowledge and skills regarding clinical expertise, cultural safety and public health, conduct research and advocate in the greater medical and health context.
Our Ideas and Additional Information
Our new logo will be at the very heart of our new identity. We want to see two submissions – an abstract mark that signifies Indigenous health from a professional organization and a similar banner that can be used on our website or on social media. We are exclusively interested in Indigenous designs. Logo must be amenable to conversion to digital graphic design and scalable to accommodate format for different uses, such as letterhead, envelopes, posters, banners, promotional items, website and social media. An explanation of the logo’s concept, teaching or story should be included with the submitted logo. Winner must consent to release rights of logo to IPAC. Logo becomes property of IPAC and this winning logo will be featured at all IPAC events, printed and electronic documents, promotional items and website.
Design
We are seeking an elegant, professional, and unique mark to rebrand the Indigenous Physicians Association of Canada.
