“Mentorship is about expanding your knowledge, growing your skills and making connections. ArtsBuild Ontario and WorkInCultureare pleased to begin our third iteration of the Arts Facilities Mentoring Network, a mentoring program for cultural leaders focused on strengthening the business and management skills needed to manage, renew and develop arts facilities.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Through the Arts Facilities Mentoring Network, leaders in Ontario’s non-profit arts community who are responsible for their facilities or capital related issues will have the unique opportunity of one-to-one learning with an experienced professional. This year’s mentoring program has a few new additions including: two in person workshops, mid-session debrief and optional webinars on facilities related topics!
HOW IT WORKS
ArtsBuild and WorkInCulture will match cultural leaders from around Ontario with experienced mentors from their own or other sectors. After an initial training workshop, the mentoring teams will meet in person or in other ways for up to three hours monthly from November 2016 to October 2017. The mentoring team discussions are confidential and will focus on particular challenges and skills Identified by the mentoree at the beginning of the partnership. All teams will take part in a Kick Off workshop, Mid-Point Debrief webinar and a Wrap Up workshop. Additional training materials and learning opportunities include two webinars on the topics of capital projects will be provided to participants.
Mentorship application deadline: Thursday, July 28, 2016.”
I would be interested in this program but because what I’m doing is all online, I’m not sure if I qualify. Can someone tell me of The Art For Aid Project (www.artforaid.ca) might be a good fit for this program.
Miigwetch, Thanks kindly,
