“Please join us Wednesday June 20th at 5pm for the unveiling of our mural! Art City students have been working on hard this mural for 8 weeks. Over 40 children and youth participants have helped to create this colourful painting depicting Woodbine beach and area. The mural is 240 feet, and will be installed at Queen and Woodbine. This project was sponsored by Kilmer Brownfield Management and completing in partnership with students from Kew Beach Public School. Art City conducted 3 workshops with the Grade 2 classes where each student painted a wood cut bird.  The  learned about  three types of birds found in the area – cardinals, blue jays and chiminey sweeps.

The unveiling is taking place on the north east corner at Queen and Woodbine from 5-6:30pm on June 20!
