ArtBridges/ToileDesArts is now collecting nominations for the 6th Annual Recognition Awards for community-engaged arts initiatives, community partners and ArtBridges’ Member initiatives.
We would like to take this opportunity to help lift up community-engaged arts initiatives during the pandemic. We’d like to highlight your stories of innovation, resiliency, and creativity during these unbelievably challenging and unprecedented times. Perhaps your story will be an inspiration to someone else. Perhaps new connections will be made, ideas spawned and amplified, and support generated. Let’s hear about the amazing work that continues to happen in this field, despite everything, because of everything!
These awards will showcase remarkable work in community-engaged arts taking place in Canada. There are three categories:
1) Innovation
2) Resiliency
3) Creativity
One award will be given in each category. Each award-winning initiative will receive a certificate and $300 award as well as recognition on the ArtBridges hub. You can apply for one, two or all three, award categories. The awards jury will be comprised of three active leaders in community arts in Canada. The Awards are sponsored by the Ruth Mandel – WHO GIVES FUND.
You are eligible to nominate a community-engaged arts initiative that you are involved with or one you would like to support. To be considered, please fill out the attached one-page nomination form http://goo.gl/forms/Unv1GClZHm and submit it back to ArtBridges by November 30th, 2020.

ArtBridges/ToileDesArts lance un appel de candidatures pour la sixième édition de ses Prix honorifiques annuels soulignant le travail remarquable de ses membres, des projets ou organismes d’art communautaires œuvrant au Canada.
Nous souhaitons en profiter pour remonter le moral des troupes en ces temps de pandémie. Nous voulons mettre en lumière l’innovation, la résilience et la créativité dont vous faites preuve pour faire face à cette situation pénible et complètement nouvelle. Votre histoire peut inspirer d’autres personnes et faire naître de nouveaux liens, de nouvelles idées, de nouvelles façons de se soutenir. Nous voulons nous nourrir de l’extraordinaire travail effectué dans le milieu de l’art communautaire, malgré toutes les difficultés, pour pallier toutes les difficultés!
Il y a trois catégories, pour chacune desquelles un prix sera remis :
1) Innovation
2) Résilience
3) Créativité
Chaque organisme ou projet gagnant recevra un certificat ainsi qu’un prix de 300 $ et sera publiquement reconnu sur le site d’ArtBridges/ToileDesArts. Vous pouvez soumettre votre candidature pour une, deux ou trois catégories. Le jury sera composé de trois personnes jouant un rôle de leader dans le milieu de l’art communautaire au Canada. Les prix sont commandités par la fondation Ruth Mandel – WHO GIVES FUND.
Vous pouvez soumettre la candidature de l’organisme pour lequel vous travaillez ou avec lequel vous collaborez, ou celle d’un autre organisme dont vous voulez soutenir le travail.
