“The Canadian Art in Isolation project connects artists with isolated seniors in publicly-funded long-term-care homes to provide artwork for display in common and private rooms. These seniors have felt increased levels of isolation from families and friends and the project was born out of a desire to mitigate these negative experiences through art.
Our first partnership with Toronto’s Fudger House amassed over 300 works from local artists! We’ve also created an online gallery through our website and Instagram that spotlights the emerging artists who donated work.
We are currently accepting donations for the Wychwood Castleview Towers long-term-care home in Toronto. Please visit our website for submission details. We cannot wait to see your work!”
