RAFFTO is proud to showcase Canadian and international films about Deaf and disability cultures by filmmakers and artists who are Deaf and/or have a disability. We feature shorts, features, and documentaries, and are committed to ensuring that at least â…“ of our festival content is Canadian!
Our criteria for submissions:
- RAFFTO accepts narrative or documentary shorts or feature films. We do not accept PSAs (public service announcements), promotional, or instructional videos.
- Festival films must be captioned. You may submit your film files with open captions or with attached captioning tracks. If you do not have an existing captioning file, please note this upon submission and our team will work with you to create one.
- All other access features must be identified (ie. audio description tracks, foreign language subtitles, etc).
- Provide access to your film via a multi-use video link (downloadable and/or password-protected), on platforms such as Vimeo, Youtube, etc.”
