“The Creative Spaces Partnership Exchange is part of the Creative Spaces Outside the Core (CSOC) initiative, led by Artscape. CSOC is a capacity-building and partnership development initiative designed to support the planning and development of community cultural hubs and other forms of arts infrastructure in areas outside of Toronto’s core.

Together, the Creative Spaces outside the Core partners advocate for investment in cultural infrastructure in underserved neighbourhoods across the GTA. The Partnership Exchange is just one of the activities the partnership has pursued to date to facilitate partnerships, identify opportunities for new developments and build creative placemaking knowledge and capacity within local networks.
Arts and creativity play an important role in neighbourhoods; we need cultural spaces not just downtown but all across the GTA. The Creative Spaces Outside the Core inter-agency Partnership presents year two of the Creative Spaces Partnership Exchange, a FREE one-day event dedicated to networking and discussion on expanding the city’s creative map.
