“McMurray Métis is very pleased to announce that we will be hosting our Annual Métis Festival on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm. This year’s event will feature award winning Métis artists, including:

Jerry Sereda
Sagkeeng’s Finest
Beverly Lambert
Asham Stompers
Ryan McMahon

The day will be filled with exciting and interesting Métis theme-based activities centered around:
– A full day of Cultural entertainment
– Interactive participation in cultural activities
– Games, arts & crafts
– Food and refreshments
– History Education & membership information

This will be a rain or shine event. There will be campfires, jigging, fiddling, games and traditional Métis cuisine. Dress comfortably for the occasion and the weather.
