Meet our Dialogue Facilitator:<\/strong>
\nFrancis Heng has been actively participating in various CACV initiatives since 2011 and is a passionate advocate for Community Arts and Social Change. In 2012, Francis became co-chair of our Community Arts Activities Committee and recently, joined the CACV Board of Directors.<\/p>\n

Francis is a professional visual and performance artist, arts-based facilitator and a trained percussionist. He graduated from the Studio Art Program at Capilano University and has been working on various community art projects in Vancouver. Some of the projects that he was involved in include CACV\u2019s Community Art Dialogues, Digital Storytelling Project with seniors at Silver Harbour Seniors Center in North Vancouver and Mural project for Oasis Housing in the Downtown Eastside.<\/p>\n

As a social activist, Francis is passionate about social change through dialogue and storytelling. He believes that art has the power to transcend language and cultural barriers, bringing people of different backgrounds and intentions together to form a bridge of understanding and acceptance. This year, Francis travelled to India and participated in Theatre of the Oppressed training with the Center for Community Dialogue and Change that further deepened his practice as an arts-based facilitator.\u00a0\u00bb For more information and to register for the November 16th Dialogue, please click here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n
