\u00ab\u00a0The Charlotte Street Arts Centre<\/strong><\/a>, in partnership with AIDSNB<\/strong>, is pleased to offer an evening of art, film and discussion as part of the National AIDS Awareness Week and the World AIDS Day (Dec 1) campaign, \u00ab\u00a0It’s Not Over\u00a0\u00bb (http:\/\/www.cdnaids.ca\/wad<\/a>).<\/p>\n As a lead up to the events, ArtReach<\/strong> artist, Kaylee Stevens and AIDSNB<\/strong> Education Programs Manager, Jessi Taylor worked with Leo Hayes High School and Oromocto High School students<\/strong> to create a collection of wearable art in support of World AIDS Day. Art supplies for the workshops were donated by Endeavours Art and t-shirts were donated by Valley Graphics. The wearables will be on display in the CSAC’s Penny Gallery, with an opening reception kicking off the evening.<\/p>\n Other galleries in Fredericton will participate in Day With(out) Art <\/span><\/strong>by shrouding works in their collection, including Ingrid Mueller Art + Concepts, Gallery 78 and the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. Brendan Doyle, Gallery Manager at Ingrid Mueller Art + Concepts confirmed that a Peter Powning sculpture o glass, copper and steel, entitled Twain Met II, will be shrouded for the event.<\/p>\n The schedule of events for the evening at the CSAC is as follows:<\/strong> The entire event is FREE and open to the public.
