ArtBridges informs and connects people about community-engaged arts in Canada and the benefits of arts for social change. ArtBridges\u2019 ultimate objective is to help improve access to arts and art-making for Canadians living in remote, under-resourced and under-serviced communities. ArtBridges is a Project of Tides Canada Initiatives Society.<br \/>\n<strong>Vision:<\/strong> To nurture community-engaged arts across Canada.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with a previously developed contact list of sponsor prospects from across Canada and a previously written sponsorship material package.<\/li>\n<li>Solicit new monthly sponsors for ArtBridges\u2019 website features (artbridges.ca) and Daily Community Blog posts.<\/li>\n<li>Cultivate and steward relationships with sponsors for long-term sponsorship.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate sponsor files and contact lists.<\/li>\n<li>Work with ArtBridges team at office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies and Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed, or in the process of completing a university or college degree, or equivalent, in fundraising\/sponsorship\/marketing.<\/li>\n<li>A passion for arts and an ability to communicate the value of access to arts in Canadian communities.<\/li>\n<li>Motivated and friendly with excellent verbal communication on telephone and by email.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability as a relationship builder and to work both independently and as a team player.<\/li>\n<li>Organized, detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through.<\/li>\n<li>Ideal for someone looking for fundraising\/marketing\/sponsorship experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Time required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>P\/T: Once or twice a week for a few hours<\/li>\n<li>ArtBridges\u2019 Sponsorship Program is a newly developed initiative.
