\u00ab\u00a0McMurray M\u00e9tis is very pleased to announce that we will be hosting our Annual M\u00e9tis Festival on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm. This year\u2019s event will feature award winning M\u00e9tis artists, including:<\/p>\n

Inez Jasper
\nJerry Sereda
\nSagkeeng\u2019s Finest
\nBeverly Lambert
\nAsham Stompers
\nRyan McMahon<\/p>\n

The day will be filled with exciting and interesting M\u00e9tis theme-based activities centered around:
\n– A full day of Cultural entertainment
\n– Interactive participation in cultural activities
\n– Games, arts & crafts
\n– Food and refreshments
\n– History Education & membership information<\/p>\n

This will be a rain or shine event. There will be campfires, jigging, fiddling, games and traditional M\u00e9tis cuisine. Dress comfortably for the occasion and the weather.<\/p>\n

THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE AT 441 SAKITAWAW TRAIL FORT MCMURRAY WITH PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE SAWRIDGE INN & CONFERENCE CENTRE.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
