\u00ab\u00a0Oppression based on race, ethnicity, creed, class, gender, sexual orientation, gender orientation, immigration status, country of origin, religion, mental health status, age, and ability are systemic in our society. Join us as we collectively define what anti-oppression means and more importantly, how we practice it daily.<\/p>\n

SKETCH Working Arts<\/strong><\/a> provides arts engagement for youth living on the margins with arts based programs. The Community Arts Trainings, housed within the Community Arts Program, provide FREE training to youth aged 19-29 on various topics that are important for any community arts workers such equity and inclusion, facilitation and organizing, artistic development and entrepreneurship. These trainings are useful for anyone who is an artist regardless of art discipline and anyone who uses art as a tool for social change in their communities.<\/p>\n

Equity in Community Arts Practice (September 24)<\/strong>
\nIn this final session for module one, we will look back and review everything we have learned in this module about equity and inclusion and discuss all the practical ways we can integrate what we learned into our community arts practice and our lives. RSVP here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
