As ArtBridges\u2019\u00a0Community-Engaged Arts Directory<\/a>\u00a0grows, we realize that it\u2019s a bit overwhelming to read through all of the profiles. We\u2019re hoping that by occasionally highlighting some profiles on our blog, you may learn about an initiative that you may not have initially seen in the directory. Also, if you know of a Canadian community-engaged arts for social change initiative that isn\u2019t in our directory, but should be, please\u00a0let us know<\/a>! \u00ab\u00a0Fairy Tales Presentation Society<\/strong><\/a> is a not-for-profit, charitable organization located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We celebrate local and national queer artists and share diverse stories based in film. Our artistic endeavours strive to provide a safe and respectful venue for members of all communities to celebrate queer culture across the LGBTTQA spectrum, as well as including those who subscribe to culturally, politically, artistically, and otherwise alternative and innovative ways of contributing to society. We see queer as a vista, a way of looking at the world differently- with an eye towards diversity, criticality and inclusion.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
