We&rsquo;d love to meet with you!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">ArtBridges will be facilitating a workshop, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/dreambignorth.com\/connectivity-in-the-arts-increasing-your-network\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Connectivity in the Arts: Increasing Your Network<\/a>, on Friday, May 29th at 2:15pm at Cecil&rsquo;s Eatery &amp; Beer Society<\/strong>; and will be joining fellow panelists Victoria Ward, Rihkee Strapp, and moderator Stephanie van Doleweerd for <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/dreambignorth.com\/making-connections-through-technology\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Making Connections Through Technology<\/a> on Saturday, May 30th at 2:15pm at WKP Kennedy Gallery<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><em>\u2013 Cora-Rae Silk, Indigenous Community Arts Coordinator<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/dreambignorth.com\/schedule\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE FOR THE FULL CONFERENCE SCHEDULE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">From White Water Gallery:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>\u00ab\u00a0DREAM BIG CONFERENCE KICKS OFF MAY 27<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>With only a week to go the White Water Gallery is completing the final preparations for the Dream Big Conference taking place at the Capitol Centre from May 27 \u2013 30, 2015. The four-day arts conference will feature several keynote addresses, a dozen panel discussions, workshops, performances, free information sessions, and much more.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>The conference was developed to explore a wide range of issues facing artists and arts organizations in Northern Ontario, and many of the more than sixty presenters attending the conference are representatives of cultural spaces from the region. Youth engagement, communications strategies, community building, and arts advocacy are just a few of the topics that will be discussed. The Ontario Arts Council, the Canada Council for the Arts, and the Ontario Trillium Foundation are also offering free information sessions about their various funding programs on May 27.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>One of the major themes that will be explored is the benefits of partnership development, and the conference itself is a prime example. The White Water Gallery established partnerships with more than 20 organizations during the development of this conference, in addition to its three primary partners: Aanmitaagzi, Jumblies Theatre, and Zakide. White Water Gallery will also be publishing a document later this year outlining the process that this conference followed as a model for future collaborative events and a resource for arts groups across Canada.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Passes for the conference may be purchased from the Capitol Centre Box Office (705-474-4747) or online through their website: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.capitolcentre.org\/Performance.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.capitolcentre.org<\/a>. They may be purchased for the day, the evening events, or the entire conference. Passes are not needed for the free events, although advanced registration may be required.
