The exhibition was developed from a workshop led by Ontario based artists Gary Blundell and Victoria Ward, which took place at the Glace Bay Miners Museum in 2014. The multi-generational exhibition reflects on the history of mining and looks at the legacies of the industry in the Cape Breton today. Many of the artworks evolved out of personal experiences with friends and family who were involved in the mining industry.<\/p>\n<p>Opening reception: Friday 26 June 6-8pm\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<em><strong>Mining Legacies<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0exhibition runs from June 26 &#8211; August 21, 2015.
