As ArtBridges\u2019\u00a0Community-Engaged Arts Directory<\/a>\u00a0grows, we realize that it\u2019s a bit overwhelming to read through all of the profiles. We\u2019re hoping that by occasionally highlighting some profiles on our blog, you may learn about an initiative that you may not have initially seen in the directory. Also, if you know of a Canadian community-engaged arts for social change initiative that isn\u2019t in our directory, but should be, please\u00a0let us know<\/a>! House of PainT<\/strong><\/a> is the \u00ab\u00a0largest urban arts event in Canada\u2019s National Capital Region, and by far the fastest growing arts organization in the City of Ottawa. Over the span of five days each September, attendees of all ages enjoy urban dance battles, DJ and MC performances; take in graffiti art, photography, slam poetry and film; and attend workshops, courses and academic talks.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
