EAR is partnering with Visual Arts Alberta \u2013 CARFAC to present an informative day to help advance your art career.<\/p>\n

Writing Winning Proposals, neatly in time for the upcoming Alberta Foundation for the Arts (AFA) grant deadline of September 1, 2016 will feature talks by experts David Folk, Director of Visual Arts\/New Media and other sections at the AFA, and Jordan Baylon, Community Investment Manager at Calgary Arts Development (CADA). They will give you concrete information about their grants to individuals, as well as tips and tricks to help you succeed in your grant applications.<\/p>\n

Following a short break for lunch, participants will be able to book 20-minute meetings with one of our experienced grant writers \u2013 David Folk, Chris W. Carson, Tammy McGrath, or Kari McQueen \u2013 to look over a final draft of your AFA or other application-in-progress.<\/p>\n
