\u2022 Learn how to plan, shoot, and edit a short film
\n\u2022 Work creatively with a small group of peers
\n\u2022 Get to know & make a film about an older person struggling with homelessness in Brampton
\n\u2022 Have a ridiculous amount of fun!<\/p>\n
The Youth and Homeless Film Project<\/strong> is a unique filmmaking workshop that will bring together youth and homeless seniors, in a creative collaboration to produce short films.<\/p>\n In this FREE program, you will work with a small group to create films that explore the stories of 6 adults in your community who are homeless or living in poverty.<\/p>\n 18 youth aged 14-24 will be chosen to participate. No experience necessary!<\/p>\n All of the films will be screened as a part of a community film festival. They will also be submitted to the touring Reel Youth Film Festival, distributed on YouTube, Facebook, and showcased on the Reel Youth website.<\/p>\n Meals and snacks are included! THIS IS A 7 DAY PROGRAM.
