Nation-wide Culture Days celebrations will take place September 28, 29 and 30, 2018. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saskculture.ca\/programs\/funding-programs\/grants\/culture-days-funding-assistance\"><strong>SaskCulture<\/strong><\/a> is pleased to offer Culture Days Funding Assistance (CDFA) in support of Culture Days initiatives throughout Saskatchewan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amount<\/strong><br \/>\nThere are two funding streams for CDFA, Culture Days Hubs and Culture Days Events. Culture Days Events (presented by 1 organization) are eligible for a maximum of $1,000. Culture Days Hubs (presented by a minimum of 3 organizations) are eligible for a maximum of $4,000.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose<\/strong><br \/>\nCulture Days Funding Assistance is designed to support Culture Days initiatives (activities, events and projects) that engage public participation and inspire future involvement in the cultural life of Saskatchewan communities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Culture Days Funding Assistance supports:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>activities that will encourage and inspire people to try something new and become a regular participant in cultural activities;<\/li>\n<li>the hiring of Saskatchewan artists and cultural workers who will engage new audiences and share their skills and talents;<\/li>\n<li>a wide range of interactive and diverse cultural activities in communities across the province during Culture Days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> Significant priority will be given to projects that:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>engage new audience<\/li>\n<li>provide excellent opportunities for hands-on, interactive cultural experiences for participants, as opposed to activities that are more<\/li>\n<li>passive in nature;<\/li>\n<li>are engaging and accessible \u2013 Culture Days activities are to be free to the public;<\/li>\n<li>contribute significantly to community involvement and\/or engagement.\u00a0\u00bb<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><small><em>-from SaskCulture <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saskculture.ca\/programs\/funding-programs\/grants\/culture-days-funding-assistance\">website<\/a><\/em><\/small><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00ab\u00a0Culture Days is a collaborative, pan-Canadian movement designed to raise awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities.
