\u00ab\u00a0Culture Days<\/strong><\/a> is hosting a national launch event to kick off the 2018 Culture Days weekend. Together with media partner CBC, we will be presenting performances at the CBC Barbara Frum Atrium in downtown Toronto.<\/p>\n

Lineup includes:\u00a0<\/strong>
\n– Flamenco dancing with Esmeralda Enrique Spanish Dance Company
\n– Beat poetry from Toronto’s Bam! Youth Slam
\n– Live steel pan performance from steelpannist, Suzette Vidale – Jazz dancing with Holla Jazz
\n– Performances by Manatoulin-based Debajehmujig Theatre<\/p>\n

Group Doors open at 8:30AM with remarks and performances beginning at 9AM.<\/p>\n

Culture Days<\/strong><\/a> is an annual, national celebration of arts and culture. During the Culture Days weekend \u2013 Friday September 28th to Sunday, September 30th \u2013 thousands of free events will be taking place in hundreds of cities, towns, First Nations and rural areas across the country.<\/p>\n
