{"id":23545,"date":"2019-03-21T06:46:35","date_gmt":"2019-03-21T10:46:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/artbridgesblog.ca\/en\/?p=23545"},"modified":"2019-03-21T06:46:35","modified_gmt":"2019-03-21T10:46:35","slug":"culture-days-funding-assistance-saskculture","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/artbridges.ca\/fr\/culture-days-funding-assistance-saskculture\/","title":{"rendered":"Culture Days Funding Assistance (Saskatchewan)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-23546\" src=\"http:\/\/artbridgesblog.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/SaskCulture-logo-vertical-full-colour-larg.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"527\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Culture Days is a national, collaborative movement designed to raise awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities.<\/p>\n<p>This year marks the 10th anniversary of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/culturedays.ca\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Culture Days<\/a>, which will take place September 27, 28 and 29, 2019. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saskculture.ca\/programs\/funding-programs\/grants\/culture-days-funding-assistance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SaskCulture<\/a> is pleased to offer Culture Days Funding Assistance (CDFA) in support of Culture Days initiatives throughout Saskatchewan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amount<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are two funding streams for CDFA:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Culture Days Hubs (presented by a minimum of 3 organizations) maximum of\u00a0$4,000<\/li>\n<li>Culture Days Events (presented by 1 organization) maximum of\u00a0$1,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"section purpose\">\n<p><strong>Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Culture Days Funding Assistance is designed to support Culture Days initiatives (activities, events and\u00a0projects) that engage public participation and inspire future involvement in the cultural life of\u00a0Saskatchewan communities.<\/p>\n<p>Culture Days Funding Assistance supports:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>activities that will encourage and inspire people to try something new and become a regular participant in cultural activities;<\/li>\n<li>the hiring of Saskatchewan artists and cultural workers who will engage new audiences and share their skills and talents;<\/li>\n<li>a wide range of interactive and diverse cultural activities in communities across the province during Culture Days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Significant priority will be given to projects that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>engage new audience<\/li>\n<li>provide excellent opportunities\u00a0<strong>for hands-on, interactive cultural<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>experiences<\/strong>\u00a0for participants,\u00a0as opposed to activities that are more passive in nature;<\/li>\n<li>are engaging and accessible \u2013 Culture Days activities are to be free to the public;<\/li>\n<li>contribute significantly to community involvement and\/or engagement.\u00a0\u00bb<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information and to apply, please visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saskculture.ca\/programs\/funding-programs\/grants\/culture-days-funding-assistance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SaskCulture&rsquo;s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><em><small>-from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saskculture.ca\/programs\/funding-programs\/grants\/culture-days-funding-assistance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SaskCulture<\/a><\/small><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00ab\u00a0Culture Days is a national, collaborative movement designed to raise awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities.
