\u00ab\u00a0Calling all poets, performers and spectators! We\u2019re back with our July HYP Slam – HYP\u2019s Got Talent! This month we\u2019re opening up the open mic to make room for even more amazing talent. Come out and show us what you do. Bring your cheering crew with you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Date: Sunday, July 28th, 2019
Doors At: 6:00 pm
Open Mic: 6:30 pm – 7:15 pm
Slam Start: 7:15 pm
Slam Spot: The Spice Factory (121 Hughson St N, Hamilton, ON)
Price: $5 dollars or PWYC (Pay What You Can)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be 10 spots in the open mic with a 4 minute time limit each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slam Rules: no props, no costumes, no musical instruments, original work only, no racist, homophobic, gender bias or otherwise hateful speech allowed, memorization optional, team pieces welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
