{"id":25195,"date":"2020-10-06T06:44:04","date_gmt":"2020-10-06T10:44:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/artbridgesblog.ca\/en\/?p=25195"},"modified":"2020-10-06T06:44:04","modified_gmt":"2020-10-06T10:44:04","slug":"call-regent-park-film-festival-emerging-directors-spotlight-and-pitch-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/artbridges.ca\/fr\/call-regent-park-film-festival-emerging-directors-spotlight-and-pitch-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Entries: 18th Annual Regent Park Film Festival&rsquo;s Emerging Directors&rsquo; Spotlight and Pitch Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/artbridgesblog.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/rpff-eds-1024x449.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25196\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0The <a href=\"http:\/\/regentparkfilmfestival.com\/EDS\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Regent Park Film Festival (RPFF)<\/a> is inviting up-and-coming filmmakers to submit their short films and project proposals for our Closing Night event, the&nbsp;<strong>Emerging Directors Spotlight and Pitch Competition!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Part showcase and pitch event, this exciting platform highlights the best of Canada\u2019s emerging talent, who then pitch their next project to a jury of industry experts.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, there will be two categories,&nbsp;<strong>SCRIPTED<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>UNSCRIPTED<\/strong>. One winner in each category will receive a development deal from CBC* and $1000 from RBC.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you wish to be considered in both the&nbsp;<strong>SCRIPTED<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>UNSCRIPTED<\/strong>&nbsp;categories, you must complete a separate application form and pitch for each.
