ArtBridges\/ToileDesArts is now collecting nominations for the 6th Annual Recognition Awards for community-engaged arts initiatives, community partners and ArtBridges’ Member initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would like to take this opportunity to help lift up community-engaged arts initiatives during the pandemic. We\u2019d like to highlight your stories of innovation, resiliency, and creativity during these unbelievably challenging and unprecedented times. Perhaps your story will be an inspiration to someone else. Perhaps new connections will be made, ideas spawned and amplified, and support generated. Let\u2019s hear about the amazing work that continues to happen in this field, despite everything, because of everything!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These awards will showcase remarkable work in community-engaged arts taking place in Canada. There are three categories:
1) Innovation <\/strong>
2) Resiliency <\/strong>
3) Creativity <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One award will be given in each category. Each award-winning initiative will receive a certificate and $300 award<\/strong> as well as recognition on the ArtBridges hub. You can apply for one, two or all three, award categories. The awards jury will be comprised of three active leaders in community arts in Canada. The Awards are sponsored by the Ruth Mandel \u2013 WHO GIVES FUND.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are eligible to nominate a community-engaged arts initiative that you are involved with or one you would like to support. To be considered, please fill out the attached one-page nomination form http:\/\/goo.gl\/forms\/Unv1GClZHm<\/a><\/strong> and submit it back to ArtBridges by November 30th, 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Past recipients include SExT: Sex Education by Theatre<\/a>, Red Dress Productions<\/a>, Sister Writes<\/a>, Blueprint Pathways<\/a>, Sarasv\u00e0ti Productions<\/a>, Open Field Collective<\/a>, DAREarts<\/a>, MU<\/a>, ArtHeart Community Art Centre<\/a>, 4Cs Foundation’s Art Bikers Program<\/a>, VIBE Arts<\/a>, The Sustainable Thinking and Expression on Public Space Initiative (STEPS<\/a>), Otahpiaaki<\/a>, Cirque Hors Piste \u2013 Cirkaskina \u2013 National Social Circus Gathering \/ Rencontre nationale en cirque<\/a>, Thinking Rock Community Arts (TRCA<\/a>) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nous souhaitons en profiter pour remonter le moral des troupes en ces temps de pand\u00e9mie. Nous voulons mettre en lumi\u00e8re l\u2019innovation, la r\u00e9silience et la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 dont vous faites preuve pour faire face \u00e0 cette situation p\u00e9nible et compl\u00e8tement nouvelle. Votre histoire peut inspirer d\u2019autres personnes et faire na\u00eetre de nouveaux liens, de nouvelles id\u00e9es, de nouvelles fa\u00e7ons de se soutenir. Nous voulons nous nourrir de l\u2019extraordinaire travail effectu\u00e9 dans le milieu de l\u2019art communautaire, malgr\u00e9 toutes les difficult\u00e9s, pour pallier toutes les difficult\u00e9s!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il y a trois cat\u00e9gories, pour chacune desquelles un prix sera remis :
1) Innovation<\/strong>
2) R\u00e9silience<\/strong>
3) Cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chaque organisme ou projet gagnant recevra un certificat ainsi qu\u2019un prix de 300 $<\/strong> et sera publiquement reconnu sur le site d\u2019ArtBridges\/ToileDesArts. Vous pouvez soumettre votre candidature pour une, deux ou trois cat\u00e9gories. Le jury sera compos\u00e9 de trois personnes jouant un r\u00f4le de leader dans le milieu de l\u2019art communautaire au Canada. Les prix sont commandit\u00e9s par la fondation Ruth Mandel \u2013 WHO GIVES FUND.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
