\nThe creative adventure begins with over 2,000 free arts and culture events and activities<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The wait is over. A creative choose-your-own-adventure awaits with Culture Days! Tomorrow, three weeks of arts and cultural celebrations kick off with more than 2,000 in-person and online experiences, activities and events available nationwide.<\/p>\n

What: Culture Days<\/a>\u2013A cross-country expression of arts, culture, and creativity experienced locally and celebrated nationally.<\/p>\n

When: September 22, 2023 through October 15, 2023<\/p>\n

Where: Free activities are available across Canada, online and in-person where possible. Start the adventure at culturedays.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Who: Everyone. Creativity for everyone, everywhere means there’s something for you regardless of skill level, interests or location.<\/p>\n

Why: Encourage the personal need for creative outlets, learn something new, and support the artists, creators, and organizations who keep us surrounded by colour, light, and creative expression all year.<\/p>\n

Some of Canada\u2019s favourite landmark organizations and institutions have Culture Days events planned, including Granville Island, Chinese Canadian Museum, Vancouver Outsider Arts Festival, Ballet BC, Art Gallery of Nanaimo, Nuit Blanche Kelowna, Diefenbaker Canada Centre, Art Gallery of Regina, Nuit Blanche Saskatoon, Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Royal Manitoba Theatre Company, The Canadian Museum for Human Rights, Manitoba Theatre for Young People, Manitoba Opera, Nuit Blanche Winnipeg, Transcona Museum, Thunder Bay Art Gallery, Art Gallery of Algoma, Stratford Festival, MacLaren Art Centre, Black Creek Pioneer Village, Burlington Performing Arts Centre, Oakville Galleries, Ballet Jo\u0308rgen, Bata Shoe Museum, Royal Conservatory of Music, Gardiner Museum, Queen West Art Crawl (20th Anniversary), Canadian Opera Company, Toronto Symphony Orchestra, National Ballet of Canada, Toronto International Festival of Authors, The Image Center, The Robert McLaughlin Gallery, FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre, National Arts Centre, Canadian War Museum, and Ottawa Art Gallery. Over 70 communities large and small across the country are anchoring their celebrations through Culture Days Event Hubs<\/a>\u2013collectives of activities concentrated in one area, including Richmond, Quesnel, Lillooet, East Vancouver, and Granville Island in BC; Regina, Saskatoon, Yorkton, Prince Albert in SK; Winnipeg, Morden, Dauphin, The Pas in MB; Vaughan, Oakville, Burlington, St. Catharines, Stratford, Sault Ste. Marie, Thunder Bay in ON, and so many more.<\/p>\n

September 30, 2023, is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Culture Days has again set aside the date to create space exclusively for events that seek to acknowledge and better understand the history and harms done and engage in actions that advance Truth and Reconciliation as individuals and members of our communities.
