\n\u2026is looking for a Youth Leadership Program Coordinator<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our Mission:<\/strong><\/span> Drawing on the strength of Indigenous culture, the wisdom of the Elders, with a philosophy of love and respect for the Earth and all peoples, Ghost River Rediscovery aims at empowering people of all ages and cultures to discover the natural world, the worlds between cultures and the worlds within themselves.<\/p>\n

Role:<\/span> The Youth Leadership Program (YLP) Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the projects under the Youth Leadership Program. This position requires a high degree of personal motivation as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Duties:<\/strong><\/span>
\nOversee all aspects of the Canadian International Development Agency projects
\nConduct regular monitoring trips to build upon and maintain partner relations, conduct evaluations, and consult on the project plans and overall vision
\nSubmit regular reports as required by funding agencies
\nCreate and submit proposals for new and innovative projects
\nManagement of finances for all YLP projects, in collaboration with the financial team
\nSupervise YLP staff , marketing and promotion of the YLP program<\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/strong><\/span>
\nA minimum of 2 years experience working in international development projects
\nPost-secondary education in Social Sciences, Communication Studies, or Education
\nSpanish language skills
\nExceptional planning and organizational skills
\nCommitment to the Rediscovery model and the vision of Ghost River Rediscovery
\nExperience working with youth from Aboriginal and diverse backgrounds
\nStrong writing skills, strong cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n

This is a full time position to start ASAP.<\/strong> Only selected candidates will be contacted. Candidates will be required to provide a Police Records check and a Child Welfare Record Check.<\/p>\n
