Harmony Movement<\/a> in partnership with 918 Bathurst Centre for Culture, Arts + Media presents Arts.4.Equity<\/strong> a 5-day summer workshop series. Express yourself AND your community through the arts. Pick one of four art streams (photography, visual arts, performance art or Afro-Caribbean modern dance) to gain new art skills and participate in diversity education workshops to explore ideas about identity, stereotypes and social action facilitated by Harmony Movement.<\/p>\n

FOR: <\/strong>40 youth between the ages of 13-18 interested in the arts and social change.
\n WHEN: <\/strong>August 22-26th from 11:00-4pm
\n WHAT: <\/strong>You choose photography, visual arts, performance arts or dance.
\n WHERE:<\/strong> 918 Bathurst Street (north of Bathurst Station)<\/p>\n

Perks of the program include:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Learn how to use the arts for social change
\n\u2022 Meet and be taught by professional and community artists
\n\u2022 Showcase your creative piece at a community arts exhibition
\n\u2022 Receive a certificate of acknowledgement for your work, education and leadership in promoting diversity and inclusion through the program
\n\u2022 25 community service hours
\n\u2022 100% free
\n\u2022 TTC Tokens
\n\u2022 Snacks and lunch will be provided<\/p>\n
