\u00ab\u00a0The Micha\u00eblle Jean Foundation (FMJF<\/a>) and EQ3 invite creative young people, 15 \u2013 30 years old, to\u00a0Imagine\u2026 a Better Community<\/em>\u00a0and submit original artwork depicting what they envisage to\u00a0Generation Art.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Submission Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Create original two dimensional art using watercolours, acrylics, ink, pencil, charcoal, collage, photography, graphic design, or another medium of your choice. Artwork should be a minimum of 1\u2019 x 1\u2019. If text is included in the design, both French and English must be used.<\/p>\n

2. Email a 300 dpi digital photo of the completed art to\u00a0generationart@eq3.com<\/a>. Include the artist\u2019s name, age at time of submission, phone number, address, and postal code in the body of the email.<\/p>\n

3. Please include an explanation of how the artwork supports the theme\u00a0Imagine a Better Community.\u00a0<\/em>Include the issues you face and solutions required.\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0Format: 200 word or less written explanation within the body of the email, OR upload your 1 minute video to\u00a0FMJF\u2019s YouTube Channel (FMJF2011)<\/a>. Videos must not show or feature the submission in any way.<\/p>\n

4. Submissions will be judged on: general aesthetic, creativity, how well the theme is represented and selling potential.<\/p>\n

5. Artists must be 15 – 30 years of age at time submission is received. Contest closes\u00a0January 10, 2012<\/strong>. For complete rules and regulations visit the next page.<\/p>\n

Winning entries will be selected by region and become part of a limited edition\u00a0Generation Art\u00a0<\/strong>product line available for sale at all EQ3 stores and select wholesale locations in the spring of 2012. One hundred per cent of the proceeds raised will be reinvested in youth initiatives through the Micha\u00eblle Jean Foundation. The artwork of all participants will be displayed on a virtual exhibit to be unveiled on FMJF\u2019s website, www.fmjf.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Winners will be awarded the\u00a0Generation Art<\/strong>\u00a0product featuring their winning design, a $200 EQ3 gift card, and the opportunity to spend individual time with EQ3 consultants!<\/p>\n

Once the contest is closed, all entries will be featured on the FMJF web site<\/a>.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

L\u2019\u0153uvre devrait \u00eatre d\u2019au moins 1\u00a0pi x 1\u00a0pi. Si le design contient du texte, il doit \u00eatre en fran\u00e7ais et en anglais.<\/p>\n

2. Envoyer une photo num\u00e9rique de 300\u00a0ppp de l\u2019\u0153uvre compl\u00e9t\u00e9e, par courriel, \u00e0\u00a0generationart@eq3.com<\/a>. Inclure le nom de l’artiste, l’\u00e2ge au moment de la soumission, le num\u00e9ro de t\u00e9l\u00e9phone, l\u2019adresse et le code postal dans le corps du courriel.<\/p>\n

3. Veuillez inclure une explication de la fa\u00e7on dont l’\u0153uvre \u00e9voque le th\u00e8me imaginez une meilleure collectivit\u00e9. Raconter les enjeux auxquels vous faites face et les solutionsrequises. Format\u00a0: une explication \u00e9crite de 200 mots ou moins dans le corps du courriel, OU t\u00e9l\u00e9chargez\u00a0votre vid\u00e9o d\u2019une minute sur la cha\u00eene YouTube de FMJF (FMJF2011)<\/a>. Les vid\u00e9os ne doivent pas montrer l’\u0153uvre \u00a0soumise ni la d\u00e9voiler d’aucune fa\u00e7on.<\/p>\n

4. Les participations seront jug\u00e9es selon\u00a0: l\u2019esth\u00e9tique g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9, la fa\u00e7on dont le th\u00e8me est repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 et le potentiel de vente.<\/p>\n

5. Les artistes doivent \u00eatre \u00e2g\u00e9s de 15 \u00e0 30 ans au moment o\u00f9 la participation est re\u00e7ue. Le concours prend fin le 10 janvier\u00a02012<\/strong>. Pour conna\u00eetre tous les r\u00e8glements, aller \u00e0 la prochaine page.<\/p>\n

Les \u0153uvres gagnantes seront s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es par r\u00e9gion et feront partie d’une gamme de produits G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Art<\/strong> en s\u00e9rie limit\u00e9e, offerte dans tous les magasins EQ3 et chez certains revendeurs en gros au printemps\u00a02012. Cent pour cent des sommes recueillies seront r\u00e9investies dans des initiatives jeunesse \u00e0 travers la Fondation Micha\u00eblle Jean.
