C\u2019est un endroit bien connu pour l\u2019aurore bor\u00e9ale, les activit\u00e9s de plein air, et durant l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9, le soleil qui ne couche presque pas&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#800000;\">Le fran\u00e7ais compte une des douze langues officielles du territoire! Selon le census de 2006, il y a 2,4% des r\u00e9sidents qui parlent le fran\u00e7ais (l\u2019anglais \u00e9tant la langue la plus parl\u00e9e). N\u00e9anmoins, il y a quelques organismes qui offrent des programmes ou projets en arts communautaires en fran\u00e7ais.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#800000;\">Il y a quatre associations franco-culturelles dans les Territoires du Nord-Ouest: \u00e0 Yellowknife, Hay River, Fort Smith et du delta de Mackenzie. <strong>L\u2019Association franco-culturelle de Yellowknife<\/strong> offre des rencontres sociales hebdomadaires, des festivals, des cours et des ateliers en nombreuses disciplines d\u2019art, des expositions, et une programmation pour la jeunesse, parmi d\u2019autres. Quant \u00e0 <strong>l\u2019Association franco-culturelle de Hay River<\/strong>, l\u2019organisme offre des projets de temps en temps et un camp d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 artistique pour les jeunes. <strong>Jeunesse TNO<\/strong>, \u00e0 Yellowknife, a souvent une programmation artistique \u00e0 offrir aussi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#800000;\">Si vous connaissez d\u2019autres initiatives en arts communautaires francophones, nous aimerions bien en faire la connaissance! It\u2019s a place well known for viewing the northern lights, for an array of outdoor adventure, and in the summer, for the sun that barely ever sets&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000080;\">French is one of twelve official languages of the territory! According to the 2006 Census, 2.4% of residents speak French (English speakers made up the bulk of the poll). Nevertheless, there are a few organizations in the Northwest Territories that offer arts programs or projects for the Francophone community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000080;\">There are four Francophone associations located throughout the Northwest Territories: in Yellowknife, Hay River, Fort Smith, and the Mackenzie Delta. <strong>L\u2019Association franco-culturelle de Yellowknife<\/strong> offers weekly social gatherings, festivals, multidisciplinary arts classes and workshops, art shows, and youth programming, among others. <strong>L\u2019Association franco-culturelle de Hay River<\/strong> has some arts projects and programs depending on demand, and have a youth arts camp. <strong>Jeunesse TNO<\/strong>, in Yellowknife, also has arts progamming to offer from time to time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000080;\">If you know of any other Francophone community arts initiatives, we\u2019d love to hear about them!
