This past year, I was the ArtBridging Ontario Coordinator. ArtBridging Ontario allowed me to connect with all of the Ontario community arts initiatives. I got to collect new profiles in Ontario that added to the ArtBridges network. I learned so much from initiatives that I interacted with, they are a great range and it is amazing to know that they are out there proving how important the arts are. I’ve just graduated from OCAD University, and I’ll be leaving ArtBridges to go to New York. Working with ArtBridges taught me how prevalent and important community arts is in Canada and I’m excited to bring what I’ve learned about models and practices and compare that knowledge with my future.

I’d like to thank all of our community partners for being so enthusiastic, and I’d like to thank all of those who submitted profiles to me for our network. My experience has been entirely positive. Everyone whom I’ve spoken with on the phone seemed to understand the value of ArtBridges and were really enthusiastic about sending me back the profiles even though they have such busy schedules. I’m sure that the next Ontario Coordinator will enjoy it as much as I did.

Thank you for making time for me, Ontario! » – Ania Stypulkowski, ArtBridging Ontario Coordinator

Mushroomman
by Ania Stypulkowski
2012

« When I first started at ArtBridges/ToileDesArts, I was the Social Network and Communications Assistant.
