Lead by Ruth Howard (Artistic Director of Jumblies) in collaboration with Don Bouzek (Artistic Director of GZP)
Free! Morning snacks and lunch on Saturday and Sunday will be provided.
Friday, November 15 6-8 PM
– An introduction to the weekend’s themes and activities and next steps in developing an Edmonton community arts network – for both those who are attending the entire weekend and those who can only come for the evening.
Saturday & Sunday, November 16 & 17 – 9:30AM – 5:30 PM
– A hands-on experience of a Jumblies’ process, playing with a theme from Jumblies’ current projects, through activities including whimsical mapping, arts-based research and interdisciplinary performance. Participants will have opportunities to explore and share their own ideas and approaches, and time to reflect on questions, challenges and insights arising from these explorations.
Monday, November 18 9:30AM – Noon
– An optional closing session dedicated to further reflection, evaluation and future desires and plans – highly recommended for anyone who is able to attend.
The full weekend session will be restricted to 20 people.
