“The 8th annual Alianait Arts Festival takes place June 29 to July 2 and the line-up of performers will deliver a mix of world-class music and a long weekend filled with fun, families & friends and creativity.

The program includes the following 4 Main Stage shows:

June 29, 7pm – Opening Concert featuring Nunavik singer-songwriter Saali, popular local band The Jerry Cans, soulful and bluesy singer / pianist Ann Vriend, and Esther Powell & the Roughcuts from Rankin Inlet.

June 30, 2pm & 7pm – Circus Show Timber featuring Artcirq and Cirque Alfonse.

July 1, 7pm – Celebrate Canada Concert presenting calypso favourites KoboTown, emerging Nunavut artists Kikkukia and Agaatoq, Toronto Indie band The DoneFors.

July 2, 7pm – Closing Concert will feature Greenland folk-rock sensation Simon Lynge, Brazilian jazz chanteuse Fernanda Cunha, soul, funk, hip hop ensemble Buzy B & the Honeycombs and local favourites The J J’s.”
