“Calling all Black, Indigenous, POC youth artists!

“We are putting together a performance series and recording project to share the voices and experiences of BIPOC youth with law enforcement, incarceration, the justice system, and your own stories of identity and empowerment.

Music and art are powerful mediums for expression and story-telling and we hope that this project will turn into a musical space for empowerment for BIPOC folks, and to share these experiences with the public to create further consciousness around the experiences of BIPOC youth in Halifax.

Come by to hear more about the project, share some of your music, workshop some ideas, perform, and weigh in on the direction you would like to see this series and recording go in, as well as how you would like to take part in it.

Discussion is also open to allies.
