“The Newcomer Artist Training in community arts facilitation workshops are designed to be an introductory course to orient newcomer artists in the field of community arts and facilitation in Canada. Bringing your arts practice to a community is a great additional source of income and inspiration. The program is offered for free through the MABELLEarts Welcome to the Neighbourhood program to those who qualify. Guest speakers working in Toronto’s community arts field drop by to present and engage with participants. This year’s workshop is a hybrid model with both online and in-person sessions.”
