SKETCH Community Arts Youth Training Program is “currently accepting applications” (Toronto)

The SKETCH Community Arts Youth Training Program is a one year intensive training, arts education internship, artist residency, and art business incubator.

This is a paid employment opportunity for young artists living homeless, street-involved or on the margins, who are looking to take their community arts practice & career to the next level! This is a full time opportunity, 30 hours per week for 52 weeks (July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2014).

Applicants must be aged 16-29, with a history of involvement in SKETCH programs, special projects, or other community arts initiatives, and currently receiving Ontario Works in order to be eligible. There are 4 positions available. The deadline for submission is Tuesday, May 1st, 2013 by 4:00 pm.
