Southern Youth in Motion Launches First Issue of SYiMzine!

SYiMzine-1

Southern Youth In Motion and the North South Partnership for Children has exciting news… they have just launched the first issue of our SYiMzine!

SYiM: Southern Youth in Motion is a campaign that connects youth from southern Ontario with youth in northern Ontario’s First Nation communities, through art, music, videos, etc. The aim of SYiM is to spread awareness of the challenges and aspirations of our First Nation communities in the north. The first volume of the SYiMzine highlights several youth who are involved in the campaign, how to get involved and information about the organization. Please contact lauren.akbar@northsouthpartnership.com for more information on getting involved.

View SYiMzine online or download the pdf here.

They also have a logo competition going on and the deadline is September 30th. The only guidelines are that it include SYiM and can be accessed electronically. To see ArtBridges’ post about the logo contest click here.
