Upcoming: Community Arts Dialogues/Symposiums (Vancouver)

ArtBridges/ToileDesArts subscribes to Community Arts Council of Vancouver’s e-newsletters. We’ve learned about three upcoming community arts dialogues/symposiums in Vancouver this year from CACV’s April 22nd e-newsletter, and we thought we’d get the word out!

Maggie O’Neill and four Downtown Eastside local organizations present research in conjunction with Exhibition at Interurban Gallery.

10-10:30 Welcome and introductions
10:30-12:00 – Maggie’s presentation of the methodology behind her work with examples from previous projects and her recent work in the Downtown Eastside. Question and answer period.
12-1pm – Lunch break
1-2:30pm – Presentations from the four Downtown Eastside Organizations that worked with Maggie: Enterprising Women Making Art, Prostitution Alternatives Counseling & Education (PACE) Society, Megaphone, and United We Can.
2:30-2:45pm – break
2:45-3:30pm – Announcements of events etc. from those present
3:30-4pm – Wrap up: Evaluation and closing comments from CACV
