Update: All Nations Healin’ Thru Artz Closes Doors… (Regina)

ArtBridges/ToileDesArts is sad to report that All Nations Healin’ Thru Artz has closed it’s doors due to a lack of funding. All Nations Healin’ Thru Artz is a not-for-profit organization serving First Nations, Metis and Non-Aboriginal youth, aged 13-25, living in high-risk neighborhoods in Regina, SK. ArtBridges hopes this is only a temporary setback and that ANHTA will be back up and running again as soon as possible. To find out more about ANHTA, visit www.anhta.org, or read the ArtBridges’ profile.

Saskatchewan filmmaker Zaul McLellan’s documentary, All Nations Healin’ Thru Artz, about the inner-city arts group and the recent cuts to Saskatchewan’s arts and culture sector was nominated for Best of Saskatchewan at the Yorkton Film Festival and selected into the Golden Egg talent competition at the Reykjavik International Film Festival in Iceland.
