Description:
It is often challenging to develop and communicate key messages in a way that connects with the people who need to hear them. Developing a clear message is crucial to getting information out to different stakeholder groups. Getting your message out into the media can be intimidating, especially for grassroots community projects or youth groups that are not always heard. This workshop will provide you with tips and advice from journalists and nonprofit organization leaders to help you develop a clear message and get your story heard.
Facilitators:
Kate Allen, Journalist, Toronto Star
Che Kothari, Manifesto Community Projects Inc
Kayode Brown, Just BGRAPHIC
Cher Jones, City of Toronto (TBC)
