« Award winning artist and poet Timaj Garad will lead a 5-week series of workshops at the Aga Khan Museum on Saturdays, 2-4 pm from March 9 -April 6, 2019. The Poetic HeARTwork series cultivates well-being by deepening creative writing and wellness practices anchored in self-love; including body, mind, emotional, and spiritual domains, and strengthening our capacity towards radical self and community care. Participants in this program are invited to a deeper exploration of how poetry can inform and enhance their own well-being. The final session will focus on strengthening participants’ capacity towards radical self and community care and engage participants in a collaborative process of extending self-love to create thriving, resilient communities.
