« The next deadline is January 15, 2014 for grant applications to the 4Cs Foundation.
Please visit www.4csfoundation.com for more information. In particular read the page “Applying for a Grant”.
The 4Cs Foundation funds community-based projects that foster links and connections between young people and others in their community in the context of creative arts-based activities.
If you have a project idea that:
- aligns with the 4Cs mandate,
- involves a group development process that brings together children /youth and other people in their communities,
- and that fosters the deepening of connections between participants by working together side-by-side throughout the duration of the project,
Then please email Terri Whetstone and 4Cs will set up a time to talk about your idea. Or, if you are not sure if your idea meets this criteria, contact Terri anyway and to “walk through” it together.
4Cs Foundation cannot support:
- on-going programs
- program delivery
- projects that do not have as a main focus the development of relationships/connections/links between children and other community participants
- projects that are intended to provide art opportunities for young people by working with an artist. The role for Artists in a 4Cs projects is that of skilled and creative facilitators. Artists do not meet the “community participants” criteria in 4Cs projects. »
