…is looking for a Youth Leadership Program Coordinator

Role: The Youth Leadership Program (YLP) Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the projects under the Youth Leadership Program. This position requires a high degree of personal motivation as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Duties:
Oversee all aspects of the Canadian International Development Agency projects
Conduct regular monitoring trips to build upon and maintain partner relations, conduct evaluations, and consult on the project plans and overall vision
Submit regular reports as required by funding agencies
Create and submit proposals for new and innovative projects
Management of finances for all YLP projects, in collaboration with the financial team
Supervise YLP staff , marketing and promotion of the YLP program
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years experience working in international development projects
Post-secondary education in Social Sciences, Communication Studies, or Education
Spanish language skills
Exceptional planning and organizational skills
Commitment to the Rediscovery model and the vision of Ghost River Rediscovery
Experience working with youth from Aboriginal and diverse backgrounds
Strong writing skills, strong cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills.
